Barkan now is one of the largest wineries in Israel producing over 1 million bottles per year across all their wines. The current winery was built in 2000 and with it was built a massive visitor center that rests a half hour from both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The winery itself is filled with the most up to date technology and advances in the wine industry as the winery is home to all the laboratories, visitor center, production site, marketing center, and logistics center.
