Levantina is part of the Asufa line of wines that represent Guy Eshel’s personal playground at the winery. It is a blend of three different grapes from three different regions of Israel. 50% Petite Sirah, 25% Grenache, and 25% Carignan. The three grapes were vinified separately, aged in oak for ten months, and then blended together and aged a further two months in oak. Rich black and blue fruit give way to coffee, tobacco, and baking spices with fine grained tannins. The wine recently received a 90 rating from Wine Enthusiast.
